Practice at the High School

Well, it's official. I've just booked us two days for the High School. We have Sunday, February 1st from 12:30-1:30 and Sunday, February 8th from 12:30-1:30. I've decided that on the 8th we should have a full out dress rehearsal. That means make-up, hair, and costumes! Everyone needs to come to the school dressed and ready. Don't plan on getting there and then getting dressed, we need that full hour to practice the routine on the huge floor. 

That means the original practice we had scheduled at the studio for the 1st will be cancelled, because we'll be practicing at the h.s. gym instead. Hopefully we'll have a full week of classes this week, with no winter storms.

Also, we're taking Disturbia to a competition, and if anyone wants to take their solos, duets or other groups, fees need to be paid by February 1st.

Snow, Snow, Snow....

Holy Cow!! Yesterday, due to weather, we didn't have classes. Mother nature is out to get us! Not really, but I heard we're suppose to be getting more storms through out the week. Yikes!! Hopefully classes will still be on! Last nights weather was a blizzard!!! Hopefully everyone saw that there would be no classes. 

We're going to be working on our dance routines again this week. Lots to do! Keep up the high energy and great attitudes! See you this week. Stay warm! It's freezing outside! ;) 

Dance, Dance, Dance

Well, we've got the cage finished!!! The cage we are using as a prop for the routine Disturbia! Thanks so much to Tanner, Jake and Michael. I could not have done it without them. It's painted, sanded (so no splinters) and everything! Woot! Woot!! Tonight we have practice and it will be intense. We have tumbling, which is always eventful. Then hip hop II, intensive stretching, afterwards just tonight we're starting to work on all solos! Anyone with a solo can come and practice for 45 minutes. On Sunday we have an extra practice for the Hip Hop II class. Remember to bring those costumes. It might run a little late, so be prepared.

The New Year!

Hey Everyone! It's been awhile since I've last written. Dance just started back up yesterday. We've ordered the dance costumes and they should be here after Spring Break. We are starting to work on our dances for the recital. This Sunday we have an extra practice for Disturbia, and I've got some GREAT ideas that I can't wait to work on. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! I also hope everyone is ready to get back to work on our routines. See you all very soon!
